Winterizing Farm Machinery Checklist
The Engineering Division of the provincial agriculture department offers a comprehensive winterizing checklist. It covers oil changes and running engines, draining and refilling hydraulic and fuel systems, lubricating bearings, storing under cover, increasing tire pressure, cleaning exteriors, replacing filters, flushing cooling systems, handling belts chains and clutches, removing and storing belts and guards, and storing batteries in a warm place while inspecting for worn or broken parts and ordering repairs in advance.
