The Canadian Order of Foresters at Whitemouth held a meeting on October 12 with a business session at 8 pm and banquet at 9 pm. Harry Cousins received the Past Chief Ranger’s Jewels for his long service since 1901. A Beausejour Foresters court opening was announced for October 15.

Cab Crash Near Pine Falls Injures Three Residents

A taxi jumped the highway near Pine Falls on Saturday injuring three locals. Arthur Richmond 43 suffered possible skull fracture and chest injuries in serious condition. Della Pinet 17 has multiple cuts and bruises with good condition. Roland Boulet 23, driver, was treated for a possible fractured jaw and cuts and bruises and reported in good condition.
