The Whitemouth PTA held an executive meeting at Whitemouth Collegiate on September 30 and set October 21 at 8 00 p m as the next general meeting with a guest speaker and 1985 66 officer elections Lunch will follow and all are welcome. Church groups and local societies report meetings, bingo events, and social visits with various attendees and venues across Whitemouth from October 5 to 8.

Glider accident injures local man near Elma
Last Tuesday Mrs Pearl Stelko Glenn Manning endured a frightening glider mishap when a gust toppled the craft from about 15 to 20 feet. Rev G Svoboda towed the glider. Glenn treated at Whitemouth hospital for bruises and a sore head. Also noted are community events including a retirement party for J Dubel, local visits, and a bazaar at Elma hall for Holy Cross church.
