Seven Sisters Hospital Guild Hosts Successful Fun Fare

A large crowd attended the annual fun fair on Friday with proceeds to furnish Whitemouth Hospital. Guild president Mrs. F King thanked attendees and honorary president Mrs. G Cousins opened the event. Prizes were awarded for raffles including a table lamp and oil painting. The evening raised about 700 dollars with praise for guild members and district groups.

River Hills Couple Feted On Their 25th Wedding Anniversary

A surprise supper and dance in Whitemouth Municipal Hall honored Mr and Mrs Michael Kiepatz of River Hills for their 25th wedding anniversary. About 150 guests attended. Toastmaster Herman Beeskau and Rev A H Eppler led the evening. The couple received a chrome suite. Out of town guests came from Winnipeg and Brickdale.
