Bad road conditions led to a low attendance at the Newcombe Ladies Sewing Club gathering at Mrs. Peter Apsit's home on October 28. The annual auction and dance date was not set, to be finalized at the next meeting at Mrs. Mel Wold's home on November 11. A lunch followed.
