Magnusson dies at Great Falls after long hard days work
Fred J Magnusson died at his home in Great Falls on Thursday evening February 26. Born December 31 1887 in Sundval Sweden he came to Canada as a boy and worked on construction at Great Falls in 1919. He was foreman rigger since 1921 and is survived by his wife nine children and a brother Gus in Riverland.

Frank Sokoloski of Pine Falls died February 18 after a life spent in Manitoba farming and maintenance work. Born in New York, he moved to Mani toba as a child, worked for Manitoba Paper Company, and was active in curling and the 1.C.C.F. Survived by Lena his widow, three sons Bill Ollie and George of Pine Falls, four daughters Victoria Bernice Rose and Mrs. Orville Burrows, five brothers Tony John Stanley Max, and four grandchildren. Funeral February 20 at Church of the Advent Pine Falls with burial in the local cemetery. Russell’s funeral home handled arrangements.

Mary Ann Wood Pioneer Resident Dies in Winnipeg
Mrs. Mary Ann Wood died February 20 in Winnipeg General Hospital. Born 1856 in Donegal Ireland she married Stephen R. Wood in 1883 in Winnipeg. They lived in Tyndall 55 years and celebrated a diamond anniversary in 1942. Survived by husband two sisters and funeral was held February 23 at Kerrs chapel with burial in Brookside. Pallbearers were six nephews.
