Lac du Bonnet Guides Attend May Working Camp at Pinawa Lake
Eleven Lac du Bonnet girls plus leaders Mrs. Okrainec and Mrs. Ambler joined twelve Pinawa Guides and five leaders for a working camp at Pinawa Lake. Supervised by Mrs. Kohlman, the mixed group stayed in tents, cooked over open fires, and split into patrols to handle essential tasks while also enjoying leisure time.

Scouting Groups Report Weekend Activities and Advancements
Sunday hikes and campfire duties left exhausted guides and leaders sharing tales and friendships. Colette Gendre earned a Child Care badge Alix Ambler a Seamstress badge and First Class Emblem while Julie McLean earned a Second Class Badge. Poppy patrol members won high inspection awards. Wendigo outing planned. eight girls to attend Caddy Lake Camp in July. Pinawa Scouts enjoyed Nora Lake trip with light plastic tents and a train ride. Agassiz District hosts Cubboree June 26 at Turners Farm Beausejour. Six boys invested as Boy Scouts in Pinawa Troop increasing membership to 30 under Constable Roy Blower.

Pine Falls Social Adds Pokeno Fun and Birthday Gift
Four teen ladies gathered May 20 at Mrs. Belle Sherritt’s home for a birthday celebration organized by Mrs. Dan Dudka. Guests enjoyed a social evening with Pokeno and a luncheon after Belle received a purse. Citizens are urged to heed dog notices from Mill Manager Don Munro. Also, praise for Pine Falls Stirling Pipe Band under Pipe Major W. J. MacLeod after Moose Jaw festival performance.
