Council Notes July Meeting of Brokenhead on Drainage and Bridges
The Rural Municipality of Brokenhead held its July council meeting focusing on drainage, bridges, and road work. Reeve Sinnott returned from Ottawa to praise from colleagues while noting rising bridge timber costs and over $15,000 in prior repair expenses. A hospital aid case prompted a resolution seeking provincial funding, and several grants and staffing changes were approved, including elevating Harry Briese as grader operator and targeted graveling and road projects across multiple sections.
