R Pearson was the only visitor in Pinawa this weekend as roads were blocked and he walked home. The Junior Red Cross held a social evening bazaar and dance on February 16 and likely raised about 85 dollars. Mrs Moen and pupils performed, ice cream was popular, auctioneer Krampetz did well, and music came from Paul Ryplanski. Deepest sympathy extended to Mrs D Packer and E Wanag on the death of their uncle C Wanag buried at Libau on February 11 after passing February 6.
Hon N E Tanner Minister of Lands and Mines in Alberta has been appointed Provincial Commissioner of the government agency. The move places Tanner in charge of provincial lands and minerals administration and oversight.
Notice under The Municipal Act and The Public School Act states Lac du Bonnet Manitoba electors will vote on a bylaw to authorize the Lac du Bonnet School District to borrow THIRTY THOUSAND dollars for a new school building. Debenture at percent interest repaid in twenty installments. Voting in Municipal Hall on March 8 2066 with polling on March 9 946. Clerk and reeve appoint pros and cons observers. original bylaw available at municipal office for inspection.
