The United Church of Beausejour trustees agree with Royal Bank of Canada to take church land at Main and Park for a new modernized Beausejour district bank. Local manager R V Smith says the building will be larger, requiring more staff and equipment, with an early start and completion hoped for by early fall. Modern ledger posting and addressagraph equipment are ahead in the branch, costing thousands of dollars.

Manitoba Girl Chosen for C G L T Tour to Coronation
Margaret Huhn of Pine Falls has been selected to represent Manitoba and northwestern Ontario with a Canadian youth group visiting England and Scotland this summer for the Coronation. The trip, managed by the Commonwealth Youth committee, includes school and camp visits, a youth rally, and other landmarks. Traveling expenses are about 750 dollars. Pine Falls citizens form a committee led by Henry Halpin to raise funds with events planned.

Girl Guides Launch Appeal for Funds in Manitoba
The Manitoba Council of the Girl Guides Association seeks about 12,500 for overhead and volunteer leader training to expand Guiding work. Some 4,500 girls and 400 volunteers are involved, with 928 girls attending 1952 summer camps.
