The LAC DU BONNET novelty bonspiel opened with a bang and then thawed with above freezing temperatures keeping ice scarce. Twenty four rinks entered as suspension continues, but organizers expect play to resume once ice tightens. Peter Lindgren returned from the West Coast for a visit while Jack Park moved his barbering setup to the old Village Tavern location on 3rd Street.
