The Leonard girls and Pine Falls Wildcats opened their softball rivalry Friday July 26 at 7 pm with Pine Falls winning 9 7 after a tight 6 inning tie. Margaret Ford earned the win. the second game July 29 ended 9 7 in extra innings as Leonard tied and Wildcats pulled ahead. ey & SOLLY'S lost to University 12 7 in the next match as Solly's debut season shows promise.

H Leith and V Vickner drive to Winnipeg for an evening. Bill Mestad returns home for a week. Nearby families of Jeffries Lac du Bonnet and Holmgren Pinawa area join in. Pinawa had two uninvited guests with a white stripe down their backs.
