At Clear Lake camp in Riding Mountain Park, cadets learn forest value, fire prevention, nursery care, fire towers, Abney levels, lumber yields, and parasite handling, linking youth training to national timber wealth.

A quiet July 27 wedding at St. Teresa's rectory Pine Falls joined Miss Annette Desilets and Flight Lieutenant John Aitkens in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev. Father De Ruyck. Building measures 34 by 60 feet with air conditioning, signaling local business growth and community prosperity.
Beausejour baseball team ends a 38 year wait by defeating Tyndall 4-1 in the second game of a best of three, clinching the Ross Trophy on Sunday. Verne Neil, Pat Koslack, and Jack Coughlin drive in key runs as Mayes-Weil and Koslack contribute notable plays.
Isabelle Evelyn Fraser became the bride of George Warren Sinnock at St. John’s Anglican Church Lac du Bonnet on July 25 at 6:15 pm. Rev. Tyndall Legion members and families enjoyed a Sunday picnic at Dugard's Park Beausejour on July 21. The annual event featured novelty contests with prizes and a close 175 pound+ Women's Race won by Mrs A E Riddell. A Vets versus Wives softball game ended after six innings due to darkness.
