Seed Club Demonstration Field Plot Days Held This Summer

Plot Field Days hosted by the Junior 4 H Seed Clubs and Crop Improvement Clubs will occur in Elma on August 7 at 7 pm and Hazelridge on August 18 at 7 pm. Agricultural representatives C S Prodan and C C Cranston will speak at each event. Demonstrations include all recommended cereal varieties and forage crops.

Beausejour Co operative Co announces the opening of a 120000 bushel elevator on August 10 at 1 30 p m CST. Civic officials and farmers expected to attend and witness the first grain load brought by Alf Kaweicki of Ladywood, the first Elevator Guarantee Fund subscriber. First two days in office see 50 permits issued by Pool elevator officials and manager Josh Kinnes.

4 H Clubs at Red River Exhibition

The 4 H day at the Red River Exhibition drew seven five clubs and twelve hundred members, the largest rally yet. The parade moved into the grandstand with banners as officials praised the high quality of work. Lac du Bonnet Food Club joined the event with nine girls led by teacher Edith Brown and assistant V Hardy.

Tyndall Wins Ball Tournament at Tyndall

Former Tyndall Residents Honored On 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr and Mrs John McKay of Lockport Manitoba marked their 50th wedding anniversary on July 19 with a family dinner at Lockport. Their daughter-in-law and son Curtis Pruden hosted the reception and dance at Lockport Community Hall. Married July 19 1904 by Bishop W W Thomas in Selkirk Manitoba the couple lived in Tyndall before moving to Lockport 13 years ago. A family of four sons and five daughters, 13 grandchildren, and presentations from family and friends accompanied the celebration.

Glenfields Couple Honored On 25th Anniversary

One hundred fifty guests gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Belton in Glenfields to honor Mr. and Mrs. F. Nikodem on their 25th wedding anniversary. They received corsages and a three tier wedding cake, with bouquets and a purse of money from family and friends. The couple thanked guests as refreshments and dancing followed.
