Guests including the Duchess of Windsor walk with Robert R. Young at White Sulphur Springs West Virginia for a four day house party celebrating the return of a local hotel to civilian use. The hotel had been a German and Japanese internees camp and later a U S Army facility.

A party of Seven Sisters people joined City Hydro and GE engineers visiting Great Falls on Friday April 16. Guests attended a Staff House house warming on April 21 and local socials featured Sleepy and the Sons of the Sage. Winter Club Stages Third Amateur Show at Chateau

The Pine Falls Winter Club staged its third amateur show on April 22 in the Chateau drawing a large crowd. Masters of ceremonies were W S Bill Jackson with assistants handling tickets voting scenery and performers. Pine Falls Five Pin Bowling went to Winnipeg April 18 for the Norwood Bowling Alley Travelling Trophy. Despite a washed out road via Garson the party reached Norwood alleys. High score Paul Danylchuk 342. Norwood team totals 3087 with Edna Brewster and Gordon Mulligan sharing consolation. One accident occurred when a player was knocked down by two dogs en route.
