Accident injures three youths en route to Whitemouth dance

Obituary: Clifton Tennant Mitchell of Lac du Bonnet
Clifton Tennant Mitchell died April 9 at The Veterans' hospital in Victoria B C. Known as Mitch, he worked in Indian Affairs, taught at Moose Lake, and rose to chief Forest Ranger for Lac du Bonnet before retiring in 1946. A WWI veteran, he helped found the local Canadian Legion and joined Ophir Lodge No 112.
