Daukazas known as Moonshine Pete pleaded guilty to violations of state Search and Seizure Laws in Putnam County Court. Judge Taylor sentenced him to sixty days in jail and a $500 fine plus costs after a change of venue from Bureau County. The defendant’s arrest followed a summer incident involving fifteen gallons of moonshine in a new Buick. The car was later turned over to a La Salle garage owner with a mortgage.

Auto Mechanics At Hall Township High School
