A national AP NBC News poll shows about three of four Americans approve sex education in schools and view classes as promoting a healthy view of sex. Seventy five percent approve, 19 percent disapprove, 6 percent unsure.
Five fires broke out in Washington University teaching halls Wednesday night causing extensive damage at January Hall where an auditorium was destroyed. No injuries were reported. University spokesman Al Toroan said fires were found in McMillan Hall trash container and couch, Prince Hall trash fire, and Urbaner Hall trash dumpster. Police bomb and arson investigators were on the scene to determine the cause. No dormitories were involved.
