60 Minutes report cites Armstrong doping tally and wider program

Tyler Hamilton details in a CBS interview that Armstrong and U S Postal leaders promoted and took part in a systematic doping regime to win the Tour de France starting in 1999. He says he witnessed EPO testosterone and a banned blood transfusion while teammates were dosed and instructed to lie down for blood draws. Hamilton also says George Hincapie testified to a grand jury about EPO sharing, while Armstrong denies doping and defends his clean test record. Federal probes target a potential drug distribution network behind Armstrong’s teams as investigations broaden internationally.
