Friends and family mark one year since Benedetta Beth Bentley disappeared during a Mount Vernon visit. Her 41 year old Woodstock roots are recalled amid birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays with no contact from Bentley. Police say she was last seen in Mount Vernon and dropped at Centralia Amtrak on May 23.

Phase 1 Planned for SIUC Student Services Parking Redesign
SIUC will start Phase 1 of the Student Services building project by reconfiguring parking lots 10A and 10B near Anthony Hall. Brad Dillard says entrance road work begins in weeks with 30 spaces behind and 81 more in adjacent lots, finishing the reconfiguration by summer. Groundbreaking for the building is expected around this time next year. He notes the first floor will house undergraduate admissions and student employment, the second floor records and transcripts, the third floor bursar and financial aid, and University Housing on the fourth floor. Upcoming base selections for Alumni Building architects on McAndrew Stadium site are planned next week.
