Kelly named to UAA board by SIUC aviation leader
Ronald D. Kelly, director of SIUC Carbondale Air Institute and Service, is named to the University Aviation Association board of trustees. A 42-year airport operations veteran and NIFA Council member, he also serves as Midwest regional governor of Alpha Eta Rho and teaches airport management at Camp Pendleton as part of SIUC off campus program.

Harris heads Herrin Park board in new elections

Miner benefits gets extension
Trustees of the United Mine Workers Health and Retirement Funds announce a second extension of medical benefits for the 1950 Benefit Trust. Supported by coal company payments, the fund had warned it would run out in late April, shifted to May 10, and now extends to May 24 due to March income being higher and fund use lower than anticipated.
