Herrin City Council debates Old City Hall agenda items
At a Herrin meeting a lengthy argument arose as The Friends of Old City Hall urged on agenda placement. Cindy Serrano submitted questions on demolition progress, accounting, asbestos bids, and a bid timeframe, but none appeared on the published list. The mayor and council said agendas are set by the body, while they noted asbestos removal bids need not be bid as it is a specialized service.
