Reagan plan could halve Greater Egypt staff
The Reagan administration proposes cutting Economic Development Administration funds for regional commissions from 44 million to zero. Greater Egypt Regional Planning and Development Commission could lose about 80 thousand dollars annually and face staff cuts. Southern Five Commission might halve its 15-member staff but keep planning work, and contracts with EDA and other agencies would end or shift through 1981.
