Judge offers deal for funds in Chicago shooting case
A man wanted in a June 17 elevated train shooting that killed Rose Turner and Charles Turner surrendered to police at a Chicago Transit Authority station. David Jordan, 25, faces murder charges. In a separate matter, Federal Judge Prentice Marshall said $19 million in federal revenue sharing funds to Chicago would be released if officials report progress on a police discrimination case showing race and gender makeup, with a court order to stop discrimination.
