Mobile medical teams bring aid to remote Thai villages
In northeast Thailand near insurgent areas, mobile medical units visit 1500 villages with 56 teams and 15 specialists. Working with USAID, they treat about two million people in a year, equip hospitals, dig wells, and train 500 paramedical staff. Villagers walk miles to reach clinics.
