Three face charges in Carbondale fight
In Carbondale two residents face charges after a Friday morning fight that allegedly involved a 15 year old. Darnell Wimberly, 24, and another youth were released from jail pending hearings while a second 15 year old remains detained. A map to reapportion Jackson County into five districts with three representatives each will be shown to the county board of supervisors on Monday. The plan places Murphysboro Township in one district and all other townships in another, except Carbondale Pomona and Makanda.
