Hearing on Assault Charge Set for Today
A preliminary hearing on an assault with a deadly weapon charge against 39 year old Lorenzo Wright was set in Pulaski County Court at Mound City. Brown shot in the right forearm by a .22 pistol near Club 41 after a quarrel over a woman. He was treated at St. Mary’s and released. Sheriff Aldrich cited Brown’s truck where he, Wright, and Leon Morris were seated as the scene of the confrontation.

The Air Force can test two strategic guided missiles more fully after the U S and Great Britain agreed to extend the test range to 5 000 miles into the Atlantic.
