Conspiracy charge dropped for Washington Park woman in Mount Vernon case
Barbara Ann Beever 33 was released on bond after taking a lie detector test in relation to the Mount Vernon murder of Marvin Allen on Oct 10. Co defendants include Alfred Harflinger 44 and Robert Holloway 33 both linked to the same shooting and burglaries. Rothenberg, the Collinsville attorney involved, plans appeal after a Madison County verdict of conspiring to murder Wells. The Beever case connects to a wider Mount Vernon inquiry and a Stennett homicide in November.
