New Building To Be Started At Western Heights Church
Ground breaking ceremonies last Sunday launched construction of the New Western Heights Christian Church of Carbondale. The design features laminated wood beams, exposed brick, redwood exterior, radiant heat, and an auditorium for 159 with seven class areas, a kitchen and a study. Rev. John Powers reports the church acts as its own contractor with Bel Mayberry supervising and Fischer-Herming Ing as the designers.
