Fugitive hip hop mogul James Rosemond arrested in drug ring
DEA and U S Marshals arrested James Rosemond, head of Czar Entertainment, in Manhattan on drug trafficking charges. The probe cites a Los Angeles dealer who admitted supplying over 100 kilograms of cocaine to the ring. Rosemond, 46, allegedly hid under a false name at a Union Square hotel and was due in federal court in Brooklyn. His attorney claimed he was framed and hinted at government witnesses being bribed. The case does not reference the Tupac Shakur shooting, despite previous AllHipHop.com claims linking Rosemond to the ambush.
