Blood Program May Continue in Williamson County
Marion Chairman Everett Lynch said a continued response to a clean up financial campaign for the Red Cross blood program in Williamson County looks favorable. Regional officials in St. Louis warned the program could run six months beyond July 1 if the $16,000 quota is not met. The Bloodmobile stops in Marion June 29 and Herrin June 30 with a 175 pint per visit quota, and Marion residents have averaged 177 pints per visit over the last three drives. Door prizes include two US Savings Bonds.
