Boy injured after 15 foot fall at Garden of the Gods park
A 12 year old Evansville boy fell about 15 feet at Garden of the Gods in Saline County Friday afternoon. Rescue crews rushed him to Ferrell Hospital Eldorado then airlifted to an Evansville hospital. He suffered a head injury and was bleeding. Garden of the Gods borders Saline Gallatin Hardin counties.

Power bump hits Carbondale brief three times

Man jailed for allegedly beating a small child
A 22-year-old Johnston City man faces two aggravated battery of a child charges and one domestic battery charge after a June 16 arrest. The accused, Joey Van Downey, remains jailed on 100000 bail as the injured child was airlifted to a St Louis hospital.
