Plane Crash Kills Two in Illinois Air Force Family
An Illinois-based Air Force sergeant Staff Sgt. Charles E. Cook and his wife Mary were killed when their single engine plane crashed. Their son E C Cook 9 was in critical condition in Greenville South Carolina and daughter Karen Ealine Cook 12 was in good condition in Toccoa Georgia. The FAA said the aircraft was bound for Andrews North Carolina. The Chanute Aero Club aircraft registration linked to Chanute AFB.
