Youths Seek Opportunity At Camp Breckinridge Job Corps
At Camp Breckinridge Kentucky by mid 1966 two thousand culturally disadvantaged boys will receive a chance to improve themselves through a technical automated society program. They will first gain basic education in English and mathematics then learn a vocation. Graduates earn fifty dollars per month or about twelve hundred dollars for the two year stint to help relocate where skills are needed. The Job Corps is a government effort to aid impoverished dropouts under the slogan Our last chance.
