Washington June 20 AP Chairman Robert L. Coughton of the House ways and means committee said a 433 million dollar corporate tax boost goes too far. He noted 14 Democrats supported it and 10 Republicans opposed. The panel also voted to offset excise cuts with tax increases, aiming to win presidential approval.
