Summer gas supply adequate says FEA chief
The Federal Energy Administration announced ample gasoline for the summer even with increased driving for Bicentennial events. Frank Zarb urged motorists to drive within speed limits and avoid waste while the national average price is about 57.4 cents per gallon and may rise slightly. Gas stations in Rhode Island plan to shut restrooms over the July 4 weekend to demonstrate the value of full service.
