Head on collision kills two Ridgway residents in Gallatin County
Illinois State Police report a Friday 5:40 p.m. head on collision on Ridgway Road two miles west of Illinois 142. Mary E. McGhee 41 in a 1993 Mercury Topaz crossed the center line colliding with Christopher J. Abell 30 in a westbound 1991 Ford pickup. Both died after transport to Ferrell Hospital Eldorado.
