Sparta Shifts Site for New Municipal Pool
Sparta City Council moved to change the planned pool location after a Chamber survey suggested the original site could better serve future industrial growth. Mayor James Mathis said bids may be delayed a couple of weeks as officials pursue two unidentified alternative sites while the Henderson family trust option remains eight thousand dollars per acre for five acres near McClurken and McGuire streets.
