Ray captured five miles from Brushy Mountain prison

Ray, the Martin Luther King Jr. assassin, was tracked by two bloodhounds Sandy and Little Red and captured five miles from Brushy Mountain State Prison after a 3 hour escape chase. Donald Ray Caylor was recaptured nearby, leaving only one fugitive at large. Ray, mud-smeared and exhausted, was returned to the prison and placed in administrative segregation for three days pending an escape hearing.
