Crainville Awarded $30,000 for First Asphalt Street
Crainville awards a $30,000 contract to E. T. Simonds Construction Co. of Carbondale to pave a half mile, South Main Street from Illinois 13 north to California Street, the first permanent surface in Crainville. Construction to start in about three to four weeks under Mayor Lawrence Emery.
