Adoption story binds Ugandan son to Carbondale family
Wyatt and Betsy George adopt 18 year old Joseph Kiwanuka through the Africa Foundation in Kampala. The couple sustain him through high school and technical training, supporting his dream with monthly gifts and prayers. Years later Joseph reunites with his American family, forming a lasting bond that flourishes in Uganda and Carbondale.
