Monkey boy of Burundi story exposed as fiction by experts
Two child psychology experts, Harlan Lane and Richard Pillard, concluded the Burundi monkey boy tale is imagined not real. They found no monkeys in the area, assessed the 10 year old Balthasar Nsanzerugeze as severely retarded from probable encephalitis, and traced verifiable history contradicting the monkey theory.
