Former state exhib its director C. J. de Goveia faces trial August 1 in criminal court for collusion and violating the State Officer's act. He pleads innocent. Indictments say he received 2775 on an 18500 Mercantile Displays contract and 10116 on a 67439 contract, both with Mercantile Displays Inc Chicago in 1947. Maximum penalty five years and 3000 fine.
