Fantasy Auction Sells Out for 15th Year at WSIU
The 15th annual Friends of WSIU Fantasy Auction and dinner in Carbondale sold out for the first time in five years. Auction coordinator Laura Cobin says funds support local matching grants and applications, noting last year’s success helped secure over 1 million dollars in grants. WSIU executive Candis Isberner calls the event a friend-raiser attended by long-time supporters, with Barbara Lesar recalling growth from the initial $10,000 to today's robust totals.
