We've all failed University warning on internal danger
An assistant professor at Southern Illinois University Thomas Davis warned Monday that the greatest threat to university autonomy comes from within the institution. He cited failures by students faculty and administration and urged action and reform including student court actions and creating their own newspaper. He criticized faculty copping out and questioned measuring instructional quality while noting the campus sales ban on the Big Muddy Gazette and a related ACLU suit. Incoming president Dwight Campbell said major work lies ahead and if students fail to push changes others will find other reform methods.
