Trucker Saves Travelers From Fiery I 57 Crash
An unidentified truck driver saved several people from a fiery crash on Interstate 57 at milepost 27 early Thursday. Creed R. Stepney Sr. 69 of Memphis died at the scene from smoke inhalation. Melissa P. Lane 47 of Augusta Ga. was airlifted with major injuries. Donnie Taylor 55 and Precious Jasmine 7 were other passengers.
