Solo album sounds like a group by Barry Goudreau of Boston

AP Newsfeatures reported in 1976 that Barry Goudreau of the rock group Boston released a solo album on Portrait Epic, selling millions with Boston’s first and second albums cited, and that the solo effort, though distinct, drew comparisons to Boston due to its guitarist and producer. The article notes contributions from Fran Cosmo and Brad Delp, mentions chart placement, and quotes Goudreau on striving for a simpler, less Boston-like sound while acknowledging listener comparisons.
