All South Volleyball honors include Benton trio on team
Benton tops the list with three players on the 2001 All South Volleyball Team chosen by the Southern Illinois Coaches Association. Jera Nipper and Sarah Doty share Co-Player of the Year. Nipper led Benton to the state finals with 630 assists, while Doty added 142 assists and 78 kills in her first year as a setter. The quartet of honorees includes Morgan Johnson and multiple standouts from NCOE, Harrisburg, Sparta, and other schools across Class A and AA.
