Williamson County ATV crash claims Creal Springs man
Gregory McIntorff, 41, of Creal Springs died Wednesday morning when his four wheel ATV struck a tree near his home at 5221 Illinois 166. Coroner Burke said a family member found the scene at 6:14 am and he was pronounced dead at 6:45 am. Funeral services are pending at Blue Funeral Home Goreville. The crash investigation continues.

USPS to hold public meeting on Carbondale processing move
The United States Postal Service will host a 6:30 p.m. meeting on December 15 at the SIU Student Center Auditorium to discuss ending some Carbondale processing services and relocating mail processing to Evansville Indiana due to declining mail volume.
