Seven Traffic Deaths In Illinois Over Weekend

State toll totals seven with multiple fatalities in three incidents. A head on crash near Potomac killed three and injured three, two youths died when their car hit a freight train near Hamel, and a Springfield accident claimed 74 year old Josephine Holmes at an intersection.

John Gray of St Louis was killed in an automobile collision on route 161 just east of Centralia early Sunday.
